Calcium is an essential mineral required for the development and maintenance of bone and teeth. Magnesium, one of the trace elements required for optimal utilization and cellular transport of calcium, is also essential for muscle contraction, nerve conduction and membrane integrity. Magnesium, along with calcium and phosphorus are required for the structural formation of bones and teeth constituting the mineral reserve of both. Zinc is also an essential trace mineral required for the optimal utilization of calcium, which acts as a cofactor for many metallo enzymes involved in the formation of organic matrix and collagen, the base material for bones and other connective tissues. Vitamin D3, in its activated form promotes absorption of calcium from the intestine, decreases the excretion of calcium and maintains calcium homeostasis.
One tablet thrice a day or as recommended by the physician. Swallow with a glass of water. Not to be chewed. Do not exceed the recommended intake.

Calcium can interfere with the body's ability to absorb quinolone antibiotics (such as ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, norfloxacin and ofloxacin) and tetracyclines (such as doxycycline, minocycline, and tetracycline). Calcium may interfere with the absorption of alendronate used to treat osteoporosis. Bile acid sequestrants (cholestyramine, colestipol, and colesevelam), used to treat high cholesterol, may interfere with normal calcium absorption and increase the loss of calcium in the urine. Elevated levels of calcium may increase the risk of a toxic reaction to digoxin, thiazide diuretics (such as hydrochlorothiazide) can raise calcium levels in the blood. Loop diuretics (such as furosemide and bumetanide) can decrease calcium levels, especially in people with kidney stones. Taking calcium during treatment with the antibiotic gentamicin may increase the potential for toxic effects on the kidneys.
Caution to be taken in patients with calcium renal stones, milk alkali syndrome, myasthenia gravis and achlorhydria. Also, patients with kidney and pancreas disorder and low phosphate blood level, please consult your physician or pharmacist before use.
